Education kits

The Dunedin Botanic Garden offers self-guided education kits that engage students in outdoor learning aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum.

Establishing links with the Botanic Garden ensures students feel at home here for years to come and maintain a connection with this important educational and recreational resource.

Each education kit provides fun, curriculum-linked activities and items for a visit to Dunedin Botanic Garden and can be collected from the information centre. Worksheets must be printed by you, along with any desired lesson plans, activity outlines and instructions.

Booking

The worksheets, checklists and lesson plans are available on this website, with laminated copies included in the kit boxes. Worksheets must be downloaded from this page and printed off for students to use on site. Please bring your own pens and pencils.
